Direct X

I've been doing some directX stuff. For those of you reading this who are starting such a thing, try not to be disheartened - there's a lot to get your head around at first, but it's well worth it. I did a direct3d pong-like screensaver, which you can download (56K). Which I quite like - if I didn't have SETI running all the time, I'd use it. You can't get much of an idea from the screenshot, I know, but it's basically the computer playing itself at pong using four bats, each one of which has a light source on it.

Here's another one - balls drop onto the surface and leave light trails where they've hit. Very soothing...download (36K).
